The rest of what parents ask
Each answer comes from the same published figures, so it changes when a school changes its fees or its seat plan.
What is included in "all-in per month"?
Tuition, development or building levies, transport and meals for the full academic year, divided by 12. Schools quote fees very differently — some per term, some bundling the bus, some adding a development levy in year one — so BigDot normalises them to one figure. One-off costs are listed separately: application, registration, admission, uniform and books.
Which schools in Ikeja run a bus?
8 of the 11. Oakwood International School and Lakeside Academy include it in the fee; Ikeja Grammar School and Greenfield College charge it separately, from ₦18,000 a month. Routes cover Ogba, Maryland, Magodo, Yaba and Ikeja GRA, with pickup times on each school's page.
Can fees be paid monthly instead of termly?
Not by the schools directly — all 11 charge per term. Each term can be spread over four monthly payments through a partner bank, offered when an offer of admission arrives. The bank decides; BigDot supplies the fee record with the parent's consent.
Do any schools in Ikeja offer scholarships?
7 of the 11 publish awards: merit scholarships on the entrance assessment, sibling concessions of 5–10%, and waivers of the registration fee for accepting early. Awards are itemised on the offer with their conditions, such as "renewable if attendance stays above 90%". Schools on BigDot do not advertise a percentage off fees.
When do applications for 2027/28 close?
Between 16 and 31 October 2026. Ikeja Grammar School closes first, on 16 October; Greenfield College Ikeja last, on 31 October. Where a class is already full the school takes a waitlist, and a seat returns automatically when an offer lapses.
Can I apply to several schools with one form?
Yes. On BigDot Live you enter your child once and upload documents once; each school asks only what it needs on top, and the application fees are itemised per school and paid together. No school can see where else you applied.
