Singer-songwriter with a full seven-piece band; expect the Yellow and Oṣó material reworked for jazz.

An open-air evening of Lagos jazz under the trees, twelve volumes in.
Doors open in
Lagos Jazz Sessions started in 2021 as forty people on plastic chairs behind the Freedom Park amphitheatre. Volume 12 is the biggest yet: three acts, one stage, and a night that runs from a quiet opening set at 7 pm to a full band closing around 10:30.
Expect original compositions alongside reworked highlife and Afrobeat standards. Food and drink come from the park's own kitchens — no outside vendors — and the bar takes cards and transfers.
If it is your first Session, come early: the best seats are the low wall under the almond trees, and they go first.
